It deals with key theoretical and practical aspects of action research and would be particularly useful for tutors who were thinking of undertaking research into their own practice. There are examples of past projects, highlighting procedural stages and outcomes.

The Collaborative Action Research Network site at Manchester Metropolitan University. A vast amount of information about action research in education.   Follows the developmental work in the Ford Teaching Project (1976), pioneered by Lawrence Stenhouse.
